Dad is pretty tired today, probably from the heart attack in combination with the not sleeping last night, but he actually looks good. He feels good, just tired. Dr Meengs (cardiologist) was in earlier and said that he could go home this weekend....my dad is taking that as tomorrow, but I am not so sure of that. He really wants to go, as he is bored just sitting there. (which is what he will be doing at home for the next 2 weeks per Dr Meengs). His heart attack was of "moderate" size and needs to build up scar tissue over the next few weeks because of the softness of the area of damage. If he doesn't "cool his jets" for the next few weeks, he runs the risk of "blowing out" that area of damage from the increased blood pressure in his heart and if that were to happen he would be in trouble. So, we are planning on a peaceful, quiet next few weeks so that he can form the much needed scar tissue. This is the norm for people suffering from a heart attack.
Regardless, he is doing well, and is still taking it all in. He is being moved to 2W today to be monitored. He will have to share a room now, so we will see how that goes. Hopefully it is someone that he will either learn a lot from, or just get along with really well.

Glad to see your Dad up in a chair and moving around. That's the best thing for him, rest and a smidge of moving around. It'll be hard, but he at least has the Dr. voice in the back of his head, and an awesome nurse daughter to remind him of things!!! :)
Glad pops is doing well! All I have to say is, Bonnie, Rod, Dr. Boyer, and Kent, Rocked it out. He was gone 15 minutes after he hit the door. GO TEAM HACKLEY! I am so glad he is doing well!
